How we work
Most people sell gold two or three times in their life, usually when money is needed or when a drawer of inherited jewellery has to be dealt with. It is easy to feel out of your depth. We run the counter so that you never are.
Every test happens on the counter, every weight is read off a calibrated scale you can see, and every offer is a percentage of the pure-metal value: grams × purity × the market price of gold that day. If a piece is not gold, or is worth more to a collector than as metal, we tell you. If you would rather take your items home, you do, with no fee and no hard feelings.
The same approach applies to money transfers: three providers on one counter, the full cost shown before you pay, and a few questions about unusual transfers because stopping fraud protects our customers.

Why we ask for ID
We record government photo ID for every purchase of gold or silver and for every money transfer. It is required of precious-metal buyers and money-transfer agents, it keeps stolen jewellery out of the market, and it protects honest sellers: your receipt and our record show exactly what you sold and what you were paid. Your ID details are stored securely and used only for these purposes. Our privacy policy explains how long we keep them.

Our plaza sits on Hurontario Street just south of Dundas, beside Rabba and Tim Hortons, with free parking in front and MiWay buses stopping outside. Many of our customers are neighbours who first came in to send money home and later brought in a bangle or a chain to see what it was worth.
